Ingredients
- 8-9 tilapia fillets
- 3 lemons (juice)
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 3 large garlic cloves (crushed)
- 10 leaves of fresh basil
- 1 big juicy orange
- ½ onion (finely chopped)
- Garlic salt
- pepper to taste
Directions
Marinating:
1. In a bowl mix all the lemon juice, the squeezed orange (make sure to leave some pulps) the crushed garlic, the butter, the basil, the pepper, the onion and the crushed garlic.
2. Rub the fillets with garlic salt.
3. Then brush the fillets with some of the marinating sauce.
4. Spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place fillets in baking dish. Pour the marinating sauce on the fillets
6. Let marinate overnight.
Cooking
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Bake in preheated oven until the fish is white and flakes when pulled apart with a fork, about 30 minutes.
